I just heard from the Bluff Park Art Association this morning and I've been invited to exhibit at the Bluff Park Art Show October 3rd.

Kimble and Matt's Wedding

I had a great weekend. I worked for the company that I can't blog about on friday night and yesterday. The highlight of my weekend was Kimble and Matt's Wedding at Brookwood Baptist Church.

The bride was beautiful, the flowers by Charlotte were gorgeous, the vintage Rolls Royce from Ron Marco was awesome and the party at Carraway-Davies House with music by TekNeek was so cool!

Kimble and Matt are adorable together. The slideshow will be ready soon.

Lunch

I just finished up lunch with Geoff and Lamar (JAMM Entertainment) and Ronnie (CAM Video).

We discussed our game plans for the weekend and just got to catch up on stuff (that's one of those words).

Laurie and William's Wedding

Saturday, we photographed Laurie and William's Wedding at Canterbury United Methodist Chapel.

Wow! What a wonderful couple. They were so happy and so laid back. After the ceremony in the chapel we went over to Veranda on Highland for lunch via Ron Marco's Bentley. The food was very cajun and very delicious. Scott Wedsworth did his usual wonderful job on the flowers. Saturday night they had a reception at Mountain Brook Country Club.

I'm so damn lucky, I have the best clients!

Temple Emanu-El Confirmation

Friday was a busy day at Barry C Altmark Photography.

First, I photographed for the company that I'm not allowed to blog about and then I did the Temple Emanu-El confirmation class photo.

Gabrella Manor

Thursday, I photographed Gabrella Manor with the new lighting options.

It was hot, humid and well, May in Alabama. The Gabrella and JAMM Entertainment staff did a great job of setting up and moving all the lighting equipment for the photos.

The new lighting packages will enhance the wedding experience at Gabrella.

Mike Huckabee

I just finished photographing Mike Huckabee tonight for the Salvation Army.

Interesting guy and he plays a mean electric bass. Although I probably don't agree with most of his beliefs he sure was the gentleman.

Stephanie and Michael's Wedding

Saturday, I photographed Stephanie and Michael's wedding!

I started at Reflections Hair Salon who wasn't sure what to make of me but were very helpful and they got married at the gorgeous First Presbyterian Church downtown (aren't the red doors cool) and then we partied at B&A Warehouse. Stephanie was beautiful and Michael looked very handsome and everyone had a fantastic time.

Jennifer and Susan did their normal wonderful job at B&A Warehouse.

Style in the Sky Bridal Show

Yesterday, we worked the Style in the Sky bridal show.

There was lots of food, lots of cake, lots to drink and lots and lots of wedding vendors. The only thing missing was brides. The weather here sucked (ask anyone who has tornado damage). I got to meet a bunch of cool people and caught up with a bunch of photographers.

Meet Amy and George

Amy and George came into the office today to do the paperwork for their May 30th wedding.

It was so cool to finally meet them face to face. Amy and I have been doing everything via the internet and the phone.
