ASFA Theatre

Yesterday, my "Intro to Photography" class photographed the ASFA Theatre department's latest play "Dandelion Wine." It was so cool to see the faces of my students are we photo'd the actors. Every time we would change poses I would do a quick critique of their images and the pride and accomplishment on their faces was so cool.

I love it when a plan comes together!

Meet Stephanie and Michael

I got to meet two really cool people yesterday afternoon. I photographed Stephanie and Michael's engagement session at the Botanical Gardens. This was my first face to face with Stephanie, we've talked over the phone and via email but I like meeting folks in person.

As we started to wander the gardens the rain started to fall. These two were troopers, we waited for the shower to pass and then they let me go from garden to garden doing my thing.

I'm really happy with the pictures and I can't wait for their wedding in May.

Elizabeth and Darry'al get Married

Last night I photographed Elizabeth and Darry'al's wedding.

It was a blast! These two are so cooperative and sweet. We went walking in downtown Birmingham and then ended up at Workplay where the ceremony and reception was. Geoff with JAMM Entertainment kept the music happening all night long.

Coach Stallings

Monday night I photographed a speech by Coach Stallings.

Here in Alabama, Coach Stallings is a legend. Anyone who can give Alabama Football fans titles is almost a deity. Coach is an amazing speaker and I love to hear him recount his days with the Dallas Cowboys and Coach Bear Bryant.

Dodgers lead 2-0

My beloved Los Angeles Dodgers won the second game last night at Chicago. Now, they take the day off to come back to Los Angeles to wrap up the championship.
