Celebrating Israel at 60

Today was a big birthday bash at the Levite Jewish Community Center in Birmingham. Israel is 60 years old and Birmingham is celebrating big time.

Throughout the month of May there will be concerts and dinners and speakers and a wonderful art show featuring me! Yes, I know shameful plug. My "Day in Jerusalem" series can be seen in the LJCC Gallery and on May 18th at 11 am is the official opening reception. Not only am I pushing (exhibiting) my art, we're showing Aron's film - "Aron's Big Adventure" about his trip to Israel.
